💡 There’s a big difference between juice blends, mocktails, and true dealcoholized wine. I had the pleasure of having @organizedjane, Founder & CEO of @drinkglimmerwine on my Founder Chat last month. I knew I enjoyed Glimmer’s dealcoholized sparkling wine before going into this conversation with Jane, but I have always wondered what the real difference is between the terms “dealcoholized” & “non-alcoholic”, and where pre-mixes come into play: so I took this opportunity to learn from the expert herself. The category is evolving fast, but consumer confusion is still real. If you’ve been disappointed by a “dealcoholized” wine before, it might be worth asking: was it ever wine to begin with? Another instance where reading and understanding what is on the whole label really does matter.
